Music Unboxed Community Concerts presents virtuoso trombonist, William Lang in this special homecoming concert at the Sayville Public Library.  Originally from Sayville, Long Island, Trombonist William Lang is now a saught after performer and improviser in New York and Boston performing in venues such as the Guggenheim Museum, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, and Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater.  Hailed for his “superb performance” of James Bergin’s Langmusik by the Boston Globe, he is dedicated to playing premieres of new classical music.  For this concert, William Lang will perform with his adventurous trio Occasional Noise, which includes percussionist Cesare Papetti and pianist Derin Oge.
